April/May 2010 View Camera magazine

I’m excited to announce that four photographs from my Desert series and a statement on this work are featured in the April/May 2010 issue of View Camera magazine. This publication is concurrent with the ‘4×5’ exhibition at the New Orleans Photo Alliance Gallery, which opened on April 3 and runs through May 23.

A special offer for my blog and newsletter readers: take 20% off my 8″ Mini-Prints of these published photographs:
Cottonwood Pond;
Juniper Study;
Manzanita Study;
Joshua Trees, Indian Summer Sky;

To take advantage of this special offer, simply follow the above links, and then click the “purchase a print” link below each photograph. Choose the 8″ Open Edition Mini-Print option; and select the $1 mount/overmat Display option. My Open Edition Mini-Prints are hand-signed and made using the same top-quality archival materials and techniques as my Limited Edition prints (warm-tone carbon pigment inks on cotton fiber paper; archival mounting/matting), and all arrive mounted/matted and ready to be inserted into off-the-shelf 11×14″ frames. Don’t delay – this offer will be available only through May 31.

Four by Five Exhibition

The Four by Five exhibition opens at the New Orleans Photo Alliance Gallery on April 3, 2010 (click the exhibition announcement at left for details). Steve Simmons, publisher of View Camera Magazine, juried and curated this exhibition, and it goes without saying that I’m proud to be one of five featured artists whose work “showcase[s] the creative and varied contemporary work being done with large format view cameras”. This exhibition will be followed by publication of my works in an upcoming issue of View Camera, and I’ll share more information as it becomes available.

The images Mr. Simmons selected for the exhibition and publication are Juniper Study, Manzanita Study, Cottonwood Pond, and Joshua Trees, Indian Summer Sky. I will not be able to make the opening reception on April 3, so please enjoy my work in my absence!
